But Americans and others are well represented here as well. I think of Cat from the Netherlands and MuverRussia in GB. Me.....I am a miltary person who has lived all over but currently reside in Jacksonville, Florida...and expecting two hurricanes in the next two days! Yikes!

Dustoffmom, i've been watching the path of those hurricanes, good luck with that. A friend of mine is a surfer and he loves when he gets hit with a hurricane, he says it's prime for surfing, i told him he's nuts, i coulc never handle that

Nova Scotia, Canada ;D
We get hurricanes from time to time and Nor' Easters regularly.
I remember driving over a mountain during the Holloween storm of '91 and thinking I was going to be blown over the side. That ones best known as the Perfect Storm.

As prepared as I can be......going to be bad here it appears but no where near what the folks in Tampa area are facing. Expecting the power will likely be out for a while so if I'm not around, that's the likely reason. Thanks for good wishes.

Wow, the hurricanes sound scary. We don't get that kind of thing around here - keep us posted, Ging.

Exited the east coast about 60 miles south of here....we got just a bit of rain and minor wind. Seeing the damage done on the west coast I have to count myself lucky and wish there was more to do to help those poor folks. Loads of preperations here for thankfully no results. Till next time.......
