So we're always posting about all these great European trips...I was just wondering what other destinations everyone is interested in. What's your top 5 (and of course include European destinations if they are on the top of your list)? Mine (in no particular order) are:
From Instanbul to Ephesus, Turkey
Moscow or St. Petersburg, Russia
Peru (any town/city)
Cairo/Luxor, Egypt
Greek islands

1. Rome!
2. Barcelona
3. Vienna
4. Lisbon
5. Prague
honourable mention for London & Florence
outside Europe, two of my NA faves are Montreal & Vancouver!

1. Dublin, Ireland
2. Munda, Western Province, Solomon Islands
3. Adelaide, South Australia (funnily enough people laugh at this, but I love Adelaide)
4. Phuket, Thailand- however thats pre over hyped tourist version it appears to be today. I preferred it back when there was only one or two massive resorts, and the rest of the place little resorts compromising of bungalows along the beach.
5. Anywhere else in Ireland.

You've heard of that town?  How utterly strange. It is where I lived for 4 years, not on any tourist route as other than a huge US Army training base there is not much there...other than a perfectly lovely typical German town. It is in Bavaria, about 50 K south of Amberg and 80 K north east of Munich, and about the same north west of Regensburg. A town of about 15,000 folks, 1/3 or more Americans. And you've heard of this? ? |

YuP! I think it's because of one of my München host's friends that was talking about the Army. He mentionned this name and said it was really nice.
