I went shopping this evening, to start my collection of things to take on my trip, things to cross off list #24.
Tonight we went looking for beanies, and scarves.
The idea was, if I find it, buy it, put it away so come trip time its like pulling out something brand new to wear.
I found a super beanie ($15AUD!!). Found a fantastic scarf ($20). Also found another cute hat I'd wear for travel days ($4.90!!) I was impressed. Also found my little handbaggy thingy whatsit for the afternoons my mates and I go "lets go sit at the pub for a few"- not wanting to carry a whole day pack just for some money, sunnies, tissues, allergy medication, and camera to go sit in a pub for an hour or so...
So I was leaving the shops all super excited like I was about to board the plane right then and there. I got told I was just like the three year olds we teach!
I promised my friend I'd put them all away, but alas, here I sit wearing the beanie and scarf, and I've put stuff in the bag ready to test it out tomorrow....
And this is going to go on for another 6 months! I think it be best nobody drops me at the airport come trip time.. I'll drive everyone insane!
