Lord, that was years ago - 2001 I think! That was right before I bought the domain name.
That was actually an OK version - the first "guideforeurope" was actually on Geocities and was Kim's European Adventure and was basically one page with reviews of all the places we stayed. That's what started it all - back when the Internet was no big deal!

May, 2001 as a matter of fact. Interesting, if you look at Oct 2001, when the discussion boards first started (Lordy that was a HORRID format!) there is Kim practically begging folks to post and 'help make the boards successful! I hardly recognize any names that were there except Nitsansh and he was very active in those days it seems. Oh, and theres a nice Goodluck Dustoffmom post from Kim...I was just getting ready to leave on my long (and first solo) trip. Memories.

Yes, Patrick is the reason I changed the site colors as he was VERY anti bright purple. I figured he couldn't complain about blue and sure enough, every since the blue made it's appearance, he hasn't had one color remark!

Ya know, I never did get the purple bit. Never looked so to me, but now, when I open that old page on top of the current one....voila! Patrick was right all along. Damn...it was bright purple!!

Oh my goodness!!! I remember the purple!! That's when I first started visiting your site. Although I must admit that when the discussion boards started up I was quite the lurker

I never saw the purple, but I think this blue-grey color is very stylish and classic.
