Ausiello: You read it here in "Ask Ausiello" first, Amy: After two false starts, Amazing Race 6 will air Tuesdays at 9 pm/ET beginning Nov. 16. Race replaces the struggling Clubhouse, which is being moved to Saturday.
WOW! That's a really fast turn around from the one just finished......not complaining of course but I did not expect the next one to begin so soon.

Doug....bout time? The last one just ended a month or so ago?! This is amazingly fast to have a new one on. Ging, true. But, TAR6 WAS supposed to start at the beginning of OCTOBER, roughly 2.5 weeks after TAR5 ended. See, TAR was beginning to slip in the ratings, but CBS had a contract for two more. So 6 was already filmed, and 7 was being cast. Then, TAR5 ratings took off like a rocket, and it won an emmy! So CBSs original idea to rush through 6 and air 7 as soon as it was done was abandoned, and I've heard TAR will now go to at least TAR9. ;D p.s. If you ever see an elementary school teacher named Doug and his sister Robin on the show, root for us! ;D Doug |
