hi! i'm also off to europe for a month in a month! and i'm also trying to do it cheap! one of my budget plans is to buy muffins and juice for breakfast from the grocery store when breakfast isn't included. we were also considering having our main meal at lunch... esp if we wanted something fancy-ish and to try the local cultural foods. my friend and i are working on the assumption (perhaps this is wrong?) that it'll be a bit like NA where you can eat fancy food at lunch much cheaper than you can in the evening. you should probably start booking hostels and hotels now... some of the cheaper ones are already books for dates i've tried. switzerland is extremely expensive. i'm hoping to have someone to stay with there which should keep the costs down. you're probably looking at at least 50 euros a day (if not more) including your hostel. hope this helps! Jules
