My baby will be a month old on Sunday, hard to believe!! 2.5 weeks ago, he weighed 8lbs, 13 oz - chunky monkey is now 10 lbs, 8 oz! Here are pics from yesterday.. Kim |

he looks so alert! don't most newborns sleep most all the time? that's what i remember from my nieces & nephews.

Ha, David! Actually, what I recall from that period can be something like this: asleep 1 hr, awake 15 minutes to eat, cry 10 minutes, asleep 1 hr, awake 45 minutes to eat, cry 20 minutes, sleep 1 hour, etc. (Actually, I never had it quite this extreme, but I know some babies are like that.)

Great pictures Kim! I suspect you'll be getting lots of use out the D70!
Willtravel, your post brought back some memories on what it was like during that time. Frequent awakenings during the night, feedings, diapers, etc. I wouldn't have missed it for anything!

I missed these yesterday! Gosh he is sure growing and I agree, must have taken these right after his nap because he does look very alert! Hoping you remembered to get the 'legs' shot once he got home. I want to see the side by side!  He's beautiful Kim! Sure glad he doesn't share his Daddy's aversion to having his picture posted online!  It will be nice to watch him grow up. |
