I am still trying to choose a backpack and today i just went and checked out the Oasis Adventure 70 pack. It felt pretty comfortable and it has a lot of the same features as the continental journey. Does anyone know anything about this pack? Has anyone here used it and would you recomend it? I have been trying to find a website for that company but i havent yet, does anyone know what it is?

I wasn't able to find much information on Oasis Packs, so can't comment on the quality of these. Your best bet would be to compare the construction and features of both the Oasis pack and Continental Journey (type of material, warranty, type of harness, prices, etc.). That way you will have some solid information to base your purchase decision. I use a Continental Journey and am really happy with it. That would be my recommendation. Good luck in your decision!!!

After comparing these two packs and a few others, and trying them all out, I think I have finally decided on the Continental Journey. Both had pretty much the same features, size, warrenty, cost etc., and since the continental journey fit well and seems to be the most recomended pack on every travel website I decided to go with it. I have found a company online that sells it for US$155 with no tax and free shipping. This is much cheaper than any of the other places i have checked, but I just wanted to know, does anyone else knows a place that sells it for less?

The Continental Journey is a fantastic pack, you will be very happy with it. And that is a really good price - I couldn't find you anything cheaper than $159 plus shipping and tax. Maybe you could post where you are getting it from in case anyone else is interested.

One quick comment. As Kim mentioned, I think you'll be happy with the CJ. However, one thing before you order it -- the CJ uses a fixed suspension and is designed for a torso range of 15"-21". Make sure you fit this range! (I got those figures directly from EC, but feel free to check with them to confirm it). Happy travels!!!
