heh Thanks guys! Harry Potter kicked @$$ (but I'm a sucker for anything with a good looking dragon). My friend and I were VERY miffed when we got to the theater, there was a preview of RENT playing and we didn't get tickets!!! We were actually planning on jumping some of the old people for their tickets...

Well dammit, we wanted to see RENT! ;D We'll see it on Wed though. Funny thing, I'm supposed to pick up my sister from the airport on Wed as I drive to my parents for Turkeyday. Originally she was supposed to fly in at 10pm, which is great (I figure I can see RENT twice then...). Then she was all excited because she could fly in at 6pm instead, but I told her I wouldn't be there, RENT doesn't let out until 8pm. ;D She's flying in at 10pm now. ;D ;D Back to singing Tango: Maureen!

RENT !^#*$ ROCKS! I had a great time! They did change some things around from the play (they kinda had to) but it still was great!

They do play english movies but only at one theatre where there are litterally 5 buses a day. so you end up getting there hours before a movie starts and leaving hours after it finishes... i just can't be bothered. quebec city is about 95% francophone. there's maybe about 10-15% of the population that speaks english well enough to see a movie in english. its really rather pathetic.
