Ok, this has absolutely nothing to do with travels, and is totally self-serving, but for those that know me, I've been on a diet (for a loooooooong time now). I've finally got a good picture that I'm happy with! YAY! This is me and my Dad at the Hoover Dam, around May of this year. I'm at about 230 there (down from 265). This is me from Thanksgiving this week! YAY! My chest is finally wider than my stomach! I'm at about 195 now, only 15 more to go! Oh ya, that's my sister and future-brother-in-law there also.

Netson!
You are looking too good for your own good my boy! :} But I´ve seen you at that first weight and you did not look that heavy to me at all! That photo lies! As for losing weight, I am joining you happily. All this walking is having it´s benefits. Three pairs of new pants I bought just before I left will very shortly need a belt! Hooray for losing weight!

Pure willpower. And the divorce. That helped to. ;D If I knew it was bad for me, I didn't eat it. Eventually my appetite shrank, and now I'm out riding my bike at least 1/2 an hour a day, so that helps.
ETA: And I just bought some size 34 pants! Down from 40! YAY! ;D ;D

Wow doug congrats!!!! You deserve kudos for your determination and willpower. Many people in my family struggle with their weight so I know how hard it can be. Keep up with the exercise cuz that is the key, you can even cheat a little on the food if you keep active. Believe it or not you can also become addicted to exercise heehee

'Bout a year and a half. Gotta lose it slowly, to fast and you could do more harm than good!
