So I am off to Halifax, Nova Scotia tomorrow for a week to celebrate New Years with my best friends. should be good fun. one of my friends is building a house on the coast 20km from halifax. should be a wonderful break once we get done with the 15 hours of driving!

Jules, 15 hours of driving - that's brutal!!! Is flying not an option? I'd much rather fly whenever possible, even if the drive is only six hours or so (ie: Okanagan to Vancouver).
Anyway, hope you have a wonderful New Year with your friends!

I'll be travelling too in the near future!! ;D I just finished booking my tropical vacation with the lovely people at itravel2000.com!! We'll be leaving on January 15th to go to the Melia Caribe resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic!! I can't wait!!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Good point, that's why I've started tanning at a salon for the past 2 weeks so I don't over-expose myself when I get to the land of the sun... lol

halifax was fab!!! drive there was long and through a snow storm, ick... about 17 hours all in all. way back was only 13. i'm a poor student. driving only cost me about 120$ whereas a plane would have been about 300$ plus renting a car there. it was lovely seeing the ocean again! i love halifax it was a blast! update on my blog Jules
