I had a look at the TV Guide that arrived this morning, and was quite surprised to see two episodes of "Alternate Routes" scheduled for tonight on Outdoor Life Network. Even though AR seems to be aimed mostly at the "20-something" Backpacker crowd, I had a look at the episodes that aired tonight which covered travels in Rome and Berlin.
As in past episodes there were city tours during the day and lots of partying & dancing into the "wee hours" of the night, with copious quantities of Beer being consumed. One of the girls in the Rome episode didn't make it back to the Hostel one night, and she apologized to her Mother "on camera" (I'm sure "Mom" was thrilled to hear that). Hopefully my sons don't travel like that -- I'll have to have a word with them LOL!!! While I'm a bit old for that sort of thing, I'm always eager to watch any shows on European travel, and quite enjoyed seeing a different perspective on travelling.
