ok so we'll start with the fact that i'm hung over and thus at home today... so i had every intention of actually doing work today... however then i saw the US and Sweden playing so i just had to watch the US get beat. Great game! and then there was the skeleton (on a side note, what makes someone decide to slide down a sheet of ice head first at 100km an hour??) which two canadians were favored to win gold and silver (which they did). and then there was the canada finland women's hockey game! good game... canada are currently winning 5-0... so as we're half way through the third i think there are good chances of being in the gold medal game... so the olympics are all very exciting and we're 4 th in the medal standings which is awsome... but damn is it not conducive to me writing my paper!
ok... done ranting now...

lol don't worry Jules, I'm not getting a darn thing done either!! I leave Sunday & it's now 5:56pm on Friday & the only things I've packed have been sent off with ups. I still need to pack my 2 huge suitcases that are going to come on the plane with me.... On a happy note, Canadian figure skater Jeff Buttle won bronze!! Whooo hoo! On top of being excited that he's Canadian, I'm even more excited that I used to figure skate with him when I was a kid! He used to skate his heart out back then & he completely deserves every victory he gets now!!!
