Great Travel Books

I just finished reading Spain, by Jan Morris. What an excellent book. Previously, I had read Trieste, and Venice, by the same author, and those were also excellent.

Another favorite travel writer is H. V. Morton, particularly his Italy and Spain books.

Have you read any great travel books lately (or a long time ago for that matter )?

I'm a big fan of Bill Bryson. I loved In a Sunburned Country... or something along those lines. it was about Australia... still on the list of places to visit!
