the corned beef is cooked (it's in the fridge, getting chilled to slice it) and the cabbage is cut up & ready to be cooked.

corned beef & cabbage is tradition for St Paddy's day dinner in this house!

David, I wasn't aware that was traditional on St. Patrick's Day (or perhaps my Grandfather mentioned it, but I forgot?). Of course, we musn't forget Old Bushmills or Guiness to "properly" celebrate the occasion!
