the local PBS tv station is doing a pledge drive right now (status quo) and are playing "Visions of Italy: Southern Style."
gorgeous!!
makes me want to go back!

David, although I haven't been there yet, I know what you mean! The PBS station in this area did a pledge drive last year, and I ended up buying DVD's of both the Italy: Northern Style & Italy: Southern Style (cost me a small fortune)! Whenever I need to "keep the dream alive", I put one of those on.
I'll have to watch the directories here, as I imagine the local station will be running those in the near future as well. I saw the Southern Style on the Italian channel last month, but it's not the same when there are repeated interruptions for commercials.
