David, yes, that's absolutely true! A team of over 400 Police officers conducted raids this morning and arrested 12 adults and five juveniles, who were allegedly planning some kind of attacks in southern Ontario (locations not specified, but apparently these did NOT include the Toronto Subway). The suspects had recently taken delivery of three times the amount of Ammonium Nitrate that was used in Oklahoma City, and they were reportedly in the process of connecting the Cellphone triggers.
In addition, Police in the U.K. conducted raids in the last day or so, and arrested a number of people who were planning something in that area, possibly involving a chemical weapon? One of the suspects was shot during the raid, but is expected to survive.
I for one am extremely pleased that the Police are doing such a great job. I expressed that sentiment to a member of our local Detachment this morning!
