I hope everyone has a happy new year! What are you looking forward to this year? I know that I'm finally getting to go to Europe! Cruise with the parents, then I leave them in Barcelona and I'm on my way! WHOO HOO! I've also got the review section in beta (SURPRISE KIM!) and it should be out within the month! It looks to be a great year for everyone!

Looking forward to a brand new year! What did you do for New Year's Eve? I got stuck supervising 20 16-year olds to make sure none of them were drinking alcohol or doing the deed with each other. How pleasant

I ended up watching the Ugly Betty marathon on ABC Family while working on projects for my kids this week. ;D

Happy New Years!
I spent last night with 30 or so friends at a house party that turned into a sleepover and then mass breakfast. It was alot of fun.
Here's to a new year! May all our travels be fun, cheap and frequent!

Happy New year everybody. I spend the night in Arnhem, with my best friend and his wife (and their little girl), and another friend of theirs. I am looking forward to a lot of things. (my own business, other work, travelling & meeting friends, losing more weight, moving ...) Who tricked you into that?

In response to herrbert's post... I didn't feel like going out and getting drunk with my friends since I had done that a few days prior so I decided to stay home... Little did I know that my sister was planning to have a party with her friends and I was only notified of it last minute.
My night was quite adventurous.... busting a 16-year old kid for bringing alcohol into our house and proceeding to kick him out, screaming at a bunch of them to turn the music down (Good God, the upper floor was vibrating!!!) and shooing away giggling girls from my safehaven where I watched the ball drop on Times Square.
Next year - I am MAKING plans!!!! LOL!

Although a few days late, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I had a very quiet and uneventful New Year's Eve (much like my Christmas this year) -- a quiet dinner at home (me, the dog and the cat) and then spent the evening with my Son, his girlfriend and her family. We were all tired so we just stayed awake long enough to watch the ball drop in Times Square, and I was back home at about 15 minutes past midnight.
Best wishes for health, prosperity and many happy travels for all (including me) in 2007!!!

And even later...Happy 2007 to you all! My friend has her birthday on 31 December so we have a built-in excuse to celebrate, although we were all home by 1am...party animals that we are(n't)!
Happy travels and travel tales! ;D

I went to a pub with friends where they had a fancy 7 course dinner, open bar (bring on the martinis and a very drunk julie), and lots of dancing and champagne at midnight... i was in bed by 2 am... gone are my 3-4 am partying days...
i think my only trip this year will be out west with family to celebrate my dad's 60th bday. real jobs with 2 weeks vacation suck! particularly when the job sucks!
