I recently spoke with a colleague at work who was in Europe during the spring shoulder season. He was unfortunately the victim of "Pickpockets" while in Rome (on the Subway). His cash was taken from a zippered pocket, and he didn't notice a thing. Of course, this caused somewhat of a "messed up" day, filling out Police reports and so on.
Just a reminder to all here, be careful! Wear your Money Belt!!! Hopefully no one from our group here (including me!) will be victimized.
