rissama, I'd like to "second" David's wishes - Happy Birthday!!! I hope you have a wonderful day, get some great travel gifts and have lots of Cake!
I don't like to think about this, but I'm even more than a quarter century older than you (over 50!). What a depressing thought!

Thanks you guys, and happy belated birthday david! btw, i didn't actually have cake yesterday b/c some of my extended family forgot, so we're celebrating next friday. but i did get ice cream twice yesterday, and a whole lot of candy today at the movies with Em. We saw P.S. I Love You. It was a great movie, but we cried a bit towards the ending b/c it was, as Em's sister put it, bittersweet. But I really recommend going to see it. there were some beuatiful scenes taped in Ireland. It made me want to go right away.

rissama, I can really understand your comments about watching scenes of Ireland. I watched Visions of Ireland on PBS last night (in High Def.!!!). It was incredible and especially significant for me as it covered many of the spots I visited only a few short months ago.
They also aired Visions of Germany-Bavaria prior to the Ireland show, and I also watched that. It was fantastic to see views of Neuschwanstein, Munich and Rothenburg from a Helicopter perspective! The shows were both produced by WLIW, which I believe is one of the PBS stations in New York (they were hosted by Laura Savini and another person).
Unfortunately, I couldn't resist so made a "pledge" to KCTS in order to obtain the Ireland DVD.
While on the subject of PBS specials, I recently discovered a new show that seems to be airing on some stations, but haven't been able to find it on the Seattle PBS station yet. It's a musical concert featuring the Norwegian singer Sissel, accompanied by Jose Carreras. I find the music to be beautiful, especially the song Quando Sento Che Mi Ami and I'm hoping the show will be airing in this area soon (I'm sure that will mean another pledge!).
Cheers!

I finally got my birthday cake! two weeks late. but it was good, chocolate w/chocolate frosting. but i didn't let my family sing happy birthday cause i hate being the center of attention. I used to cry when people would sing it to other people when i was little. I'm kinda sad they didnt sing now. And i was half awake on the way to my grandparents to celebrate, so we didnt stop for candles cause i was in the "every question will be answered no b/c a just woke up and hate the world and all things that exist on it (especially bright lights) right now" mood when my mom asked if i wanted candles on my cake.
