Thanks for that Eagle. Interesting reading! There was a story in the Halifax Herald this week about a similar scam operating in Halifax. The crooks were actually able to hook up a fake keypad on a machine you use to buy your theatre tickets at Empire 18 in Bayer's Lake. This is a HUGE theatre complex and yet they still managed to pull this off. They got all your account info when you swipped your card and your pin number as well. Worse, those that reported it to their bank were told not to contact the police because the bank would handle the investigation (In this case Royal Bank). It happens ALL the time. Just check the ATM first, if there's anything loose, or dodgy, walk away. I always make a habit of shielding the keypad with my wallet to stop pin hole cameras grabbing my pin as well.
