Hi,
I was wondering if any of you have stayed at the Generator hostel in London. I have a specific question: are the showers there in stalls or are they gym style? I tried to email them, but the link was dead.
thanks

Hi Civ, Did you take a look at Kim's section on where we stayed on the home page? I could be wrong, but seem to remember that they stayed there. If not, I am sure she will have the lowdown on it.....sadly, she is gone till the 29th. Are you in a rush for the info?

Thanks.. I had read some things about the generator here. I was kinda hoping the "fun" aspect would outweigh the bad stuff I read... Perhaps comfort is more important tho... (Plus the thing I worry about the most with hostels are the bathrooms! I can make a happy home anywhere with a nice clean shower. )

when i stayed at the generator, "nice" isn't the word that came to mind. but, there were interesting german teens in the bar! i guess they were interested by an american who could speak german. <so many of us are monoglots>

I've stayed at The Generator in London and thought it was pretty cool. Generally clean and showers are all in stalls - on the upper floors they even have locks on the doors as opposed to curtains. Groovy bar too!
