My boyfriend and I are going to London and Paris this summer. We need accomodations in London from July 24th to July 26th, and July 26 to July 28th for Paris. We are on a very limited budget, so any advice or recommendations anyone can give me would be great. Thank you.

I was in Paris at the end of May and stayed at the Blue Planet Hostel. It was only 18.30 a night and I was in a room that had a shower. It does have a lock out from 11-3 but I did not care because shoot me if I am in my hostel at those times. Also they had beds at the time and most the others were booked. (I never made reservations). It is right by Gare de Lyon too. All in all it was OK.

I was in London in Jan/Feb of this year and stayed at the Victoria Hotel on Belgrave Rd, Westminster. You can find the site through eurotrip.com and look for hostel reviews. I've tried to leave a review twice now and haven't been successful. I think the price may increase for summer, but I paid under $20 USD/night for an 8-bed room. If you stay there, there's a 10 pound (CASH ONLY) key deposit which you will get back when you check out. It is about 15 mins from Victoria Stations and 10 mins from Pimlico. It was the first time I had stayed in a hostel and I really enjoyed it! I'm planning on hostelling through Scotland next month and found a place right near Edinburgh Castle! Good Luck!
