St. Christopher's hostel

hey there.  Just wondering when this place opened.  Frin what I read about it on the net, I heard only good things.  It is not listed in either Let's go or lonely planet (the most recent editions), however.  Thus, I am worried how much else these books are leaving out.  Unless this place is really new, then I have nothing to worry about.

Well, there are quite a few St.Christoper's hostels in London-at least 5 of them.

The books obviously can't list every hostel, in fact they usually only list a selection for each place. That's why it's important to do your research before you leave. Make a list of places you would like to stay and bring it with you as well. The books are good for reference but it really pays off to plan ahead.

How they choose twhat to list, I don't know. It might be that the St. Christophers ones are so well known that they are trying to list lesser known hostels.

I just checked my Rough Guide London and they list one of them.

As far as accommodation, it's better to go with opinions from others than what the books have to say-you'll get a more honest opinion!  ;D
