Cat: I'd appreciate knowing which Skye hostel you chose as having the best atmosphere. Can you describe how to get there, whether in a town, etc? My first guess is: Flodigarry, at the far north on the east coast.

Istanbul - the Orient - it is a dirty and poorly-maintained hostel.
London has 2 dumps - the Euro Tower was a dump. I also hear that the Grenada Hostel is a dump – no hot water, some lights not working, toilet paper not replaced, and smells pretty bad.
