I'm having trouble looking for a hostel in venezia...please help...there aren't many choices out there without spending some dough. I have a choice of staying outside of venezia...here are some hostels I've found...Less than $40CAD -Camping Fusina -Camping Alba D'Oro Note: These camp sites are about 50min away from venezia Or in venezia...more than $50CAN...should I indulge myself for Venezia. -Ca' Croce -Ca'Venezia Any suggestions will be great!!!

I think I'm more relaxed now...just a little excited and nervous...last minute worries I've decided on either... Camping Fusina or Camping Alba D'Oro. they both have mixed views. Anybody stayed their?

i had reservations for camp d albo but changed plans so i ended up in st. croce. it was great! we were going for cheap and it turned out to be more like a hotel than a hostel. bathrooms and cable tv in every room and it was 28 euros a night. the front desk staff is really friendly too. it is a 5 minute walk from the train station and close to everything you would need. i think we lucked out by finding it quite honestly. if you decide to stay there, i can give you easy directions.

Hi Kim (and Miriam) and everybody else, I guess I would like to have suggestions for hostels in Venice that are nice and not too expensive. We could stay in a dorm but I would prefer a double room (for my boyfriend and I). What Miriam was describing sounds pretty good for the price but the problem is that I don't know the name of it. Any suggestions?
