hey yall....i have an early morning flight out of london to chicago on june 5th.....would it be in my best interest to stay out near heathrow so i won't miss my flight....(due to tube delays and the like...) if so, where is a good place to stay out there..... any suggestions would be super helpful as i have no idea what would be the best plan.....~emily

I'm repeating what I said on another post, but I'd suggest getting a hotel on Priceline in the London Heathrow Airport zone. I suspect you could get one for less than $70 US, all told, if you wanted to go cheap. Also, if there is someone back home that you trust, you can get them to telephone you at the hotel at an early hour (which will just be evening to them). I think I'd be super-nervous not being near the airport also. |
