HI, it's me again..... I have a question that might be stupid: When it says one single, can two people stay in that room? Or does it mean one single bed that only one person can stay in? And when it says one double, does it mean ONE double bed or does it mean 2 people can share a room together (with 2 single beds for example)?

Common question and confusion. When it says single, it means one person only.
And prices in Europe, say for a double room, are commonly given per person.. as in a double would be, for example, 20 Euros per person, not per room like we are used to here.
As far as double meaning one double bed or two singles, most often it's one double bed. Two singles are usually classified as "twins". That said, it can be a crap shoot-we had doubles that were two twin beds and vice versa.

Make a distinction between rooms and beds... Single room is for one person, double room is for 2 people, triple room is for 3 people, quad for 4 etc... A double room may have one double bed or 2 twin beds... so if the configuration of beds is important, ask when you make a reservation... If you are one person and you stay in a double room, you pay a different price than in a single room... although price may be quoted per person, in most establishments you hire the entire room... unless this is a SHARED room, which you normally find in hostels but in very few places elsewhere...
