I am just finishing a half year semester studying in Denmark and would love to get away from the rain and cold for a while before I begin traveling Europe. I have thought about Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia, and Greece as the most probable places to get half descent weather in mid February. Any suggestions or tips for least amount of rain, and maybe even some sun, by destination would be great! Thanks a lot to anyone who can help.

Hi, BigRed! never been much into chewing-gum myself. is Big Red available in Denmark? closest i got to the Balkans was Szeged, Hungary, in Springtime. so, i know nothing about Croatia or Greece. Sicily, Andalusia and Algarve should have nice weather in February. prolly in the teens, C. but, these areas will likely be full of Northern Europeans escaping the harsh Winter weather. [you'll most likely see plenty of Danes there!]

David, thanks for the help! As for the chewing gum it's not my thing either. Well if the south will be filled with Danes and other Nothern Europeans I'm sure I'll have a great time. Thanks again Man.
