Any advice on a decent hostel in Santorini? I want to spend about 5 days there.

I've been looking for hostels too - and have had a little look at some in Santorini and wondered if it is best to stay in their capital - Thira  I wondered if I could grab some people's opinions on the following hostels (hopefully this will help NFLQueen too) or any other ideas? * Sunrise Hotel * Youth Hostel Anna * Youth Hostel Kontohori Thanx ;D |

Hi, I just came from Santorini. I spent 4 nights at the Youth Hostel in Fira. It was ok. I stayed in a room, as opposed to the dorm room. The dorm rooms were quite dark and dingey. The room was ok - 4 beds with your own bathroom. Price difference: dorm 8 euros and room 9 euros, so not too bad. The worst thing about it was the mosquitoes. I got over 20 bites from being in the room. he main good thing about it was the location - pretty close to the bus stop in Fira, which is the main travel point in Santorini.
I hear that the hostel in Oia is great, but it didn't open up until May 2, so I didn't get a chance to stay there. But Oia is a beautiful place if you want to stay there.
