My friend and I will be in Rome for the last week of June and are making reservations off of recommendations from this site. Our only problem is that we can't decide which to pick. Does anyone have a very strong opinion about either (or any other hostel that's fabulous, for that matter)?
thanks!

Someone was mentioning the other day that the Beehive was completely booked for when they were trying to make reservations for their dates in June.. that may very well make up your mind for you! The Pop Inn is newer on the scene and looks like has good availability so if the Beehive is full, you have a back up plan. Enter your dates here to check for the Pop Inn: reservations.bookhostels.com/guideforeurope.com/hostel.php?HostelNumber=3162Kim

Yep, Beehive was full for June 18th to 20th when I tried to reserve. They're in a lot of guidebooks and their website is really nice, so it probably fills up early.
I've ended taking reservations at the Hostel des Artistes. Seems nice too.

Haven't personally stayed at Des Artistes but it always gets good reviews. Good choice! Kim

Many of the hostels are close to Termini - we stayed at Gullivers House and walked there from the station. Never found it to be a problem. I think as long as you have basic street sense, it wouldn't be problem.

The Beehive is nice i was in it but couldn't stay as it was booked up, if i remember correctly it was quite far (walking) from Termini, I never saw The Pop Inn but i did stay in a Lonely Planet Hostel called Stargate it rangs from very cheap to fairly expensive. The room we stayed in was quite basic but it was nice
