Hey Kim ...........
Just wondering why this hostel isn't listed by guideforeurope.com bookings?
Would you still recommend this place over the Snuffel Sleep-In?
I just need a place for 2 nights - ......... I would actually like to take an overnight train to Paris on my second day here instead of spending a second night - how can I find out if that's available?
And when and where do you "reserve" sleeping compartments on trains - this is likely the wrong section to be asking this but anyways.
Thanks

Well, the hostel sign up is done through Hostelworld-they have asked them if they want to sign up but they want to do their bookings privately.
Yes, still would recommend Bauhaus over the Snuffel - neither were my favorites but definately Bauhaus was better. And you have to eat in their pub/cafe. EXCELLENT food!
As far as reserving sleeping compartments, you do that at the station - as much ahead of time as you can, esp. for sleepers. You can make a reservation online but it will cost extra, which is a rip off.

The most popular hostel in Brugge is called the Bauhaus (no curfew or lockout) www.bauhaus.be/youthhostel.html – Langestraat 133-137, Tel.: +32(0)50.341093. Right inside the train station there is a special telephone that has a direct line to this hostel and you just pick up the phone and you are automatically connected to the hostel for free! But I always suggest booking thru Kim's website if it is possible. if not, then contact the hostel direct.
