I will be in Lagos in mid July and was wondering if anybody knew of cheap, clean places to stay. How busy is it in July and how far ahead should I reserve a room. If I do nothing am I screwed just showing up and looking around.

Definately reserve a room. We were there in the summertime and wanted to stay longer but couldn't cause everything was all booked up.
