I am going to be in London for the last week of August and I was wondering if someone could reccomend a good hostel. I am looking for a place where I could meet people easily and is in a good area (safe).
Any ideas?

Susie, I liked the Astor Victoria and I did meet people there - just hang out in the breakfast room and the common area. It's about 3 blocks from Victoria Station and the area seemed good.

HI- If you are looking to meet a ton of people really easily, stay at The Generator - it is close to two tube stations (Russell Square and Kings Cross) and has a huge common area, eating area, and a fully stocked bar. Fun fun fun.
