London is at the same time the best and the worst
city. First of all, it is REALLY expensive. You pay
a lot for everything, except for the air you breathe,
and believe me, if they could find a way, you would
pay for that too. The museums are free, but housing,
food and everything else costs. A fish and chips meal
is £4. Not too bad? That's $6, from a street vendor.
The hostel is £16 a night, and more on that later.
The people are sometimes abrupt, but sometimes kind.
Maybe it is just I am ready to come home. This is my
last road report, will write up some reviews and stuff
when I get home. It's been a great trip, tho, but I
miss my family and even work, and am ready to come
home.
