Bonjour from Paris!
I came here on the Chunnel train, Rick Steves was right when he said it was 20 minutes of black nothing. An interesting thing about the Chunnel train, it is in 2 languages, of course, English and French. When you leave London, the announcements all start in English, and when you cross the Chunnel, they all start in French, just another way for them not to offend anyone.
Paris is wonderful, just have to watch for the
pickpockets. Everyone on the Metro keeps their hand
on their bag. I have died and gone to museum heaven~the Louvre.
Took a ride up to the top of the Eiffel tower, and just generally doing all the touristy things.
