The rooms will be in the South Kensington area. From the EasyJet people: www.easyhotel.com/The rooms will be rather like an orange, windowless prison cell. They have a double bed (although it looks rather tiny) and private facilities in the room. There is no TV, and all the extras (like housekeeping) will cost extra. The rooms come in three sizes: 'tiny' (60 square feet), 'very small' (70 sq ft), and 'small' (80 sq ft) But apparently for some people, if you book far enough ahead in low-demand periods, you could get a rate as low as 5 pounds per night. I wouldn't count on this happening very often. The web page used to say booking from "April 2005" but they have changed this to "Spring 2005". Still, if I were traveling by myself, I would definitely consider this option. At least I was until I read that guests have to provide their own towels and toiletries!

Booking is now available. But they're advertising the rooms as being from "20 pounds per night". You have to pay more to get a window. It turns out there is a TV, but you have to pay extra to get the remote. Towels are supplied when you arrive, but if you want your linen changed and the room cleaned, you have to pay 10 pounds. There's no phone in the room. If there are two of you, and you really don't mind being snuggled up very closely, it could work. Otherwise, I'd recommend booking one room per person. This is not a bad deal at all, considering that 15-18 pounds is a pretty standard London rate for a dorm bed at a good hostel. www.easyhotel.com

There's a new location near Victoria Station, at 36-40 Belgrave Road. This is extremely convenient if you are going to/from Gatwick Airport. The prices for both the Kensington and Victoria locations now start from 25 pounds per night.
Again, note that the rooms are very small, and that the bed is not a true double like we are used to seeing.
There's a location in Basel, which might be good considering how expensive Switzerland can be. A new location is opening up in Budapest, but for 29 Euros per night, I bet you can get better value somewhere else.

Especially in Budapest! We had a real double room, with enough space and 2 windows for about 22$ canadian for both of us!
