Cost of hostels in September/ October

Hello!!!

I have really enjoyed reading everyone's questions/ responses and perusing the site! ;D

I was wondering if anyone could tell me what they think my boyfriend and I will pay, on average, to sleep in hostels when we go on our trip in September through October...

We will likely take what is cheapest most nights, but when it is not much more, spring for a double bed.
We plan on visiting Germany (Frankfurt, Berlin), Belgium, NL (Amsterdam), Austria (Graz), Italy (Rome, Venice), Switzerland (Geneva, Neuchatel), France (Nice, Marseilles), Spain (Barcelona) and England perhaps.

I forgot to mention: and estimates in Euro or Canadian dollar would be most helpful...

Well, the prices are quite similar from one time to another, no matter the month. Some hostels an out of season price which is cheaper. Rates go from about 8euros to 25 Euros. It really depends where, what hostel, etc. I would really check out the link at the bottom of the page on any page of the travel forum for hostelworld.com, it will give you a good idea of the prices!
