I've been looking at hostels (i.e. www.hoteldenesleparis.com/pages/infos.html ) and i notice that 1 person rooms are cheaper than 2 persons...but are 1 persons 1 bed for one person or can they accomidate 2 people. me and my girlfriend are goign and we can share a bed. so for this would i need 1 or 2 person rooms?

Wow, that place looks lovely. Please let us know if it´s really as nice as their website after you´ve been there.
In this particular one, a single room IS cheaper than a double, if it doesn´t appear so elswhere, they probably just quote their rates per person, not per room.
Don´t spoil your trip by trying to save money by sharing a single bed between two persons. Most hotels won´t allow that anyway.
If you´re confused: Single room = 1 single bed, 90cm wide = NOT big enough for 2 persons!!! Twin room = room with 2 single beds Double room = 1 BIG bed for 2 persons.
