Sorry, I know this has been answered before but wanted to ask anyways. ;D
My questions are a) Is it possible for 3 travellers to stay in London for under (or reasonably close to) 30$ (American) in the May-July timeframe?
Also, what about in any number of other cities in Britian (Wales, several cities in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland, RoI, Ilse of Man?)

Euroman, you might be able to manage hostel beds for 10 pounds per night in London. But 30 pounds is still more than $30 American. Try the Hostelworld links at the bottom here, or try studios92.com/ . I doubt you'll do better than the bottomline 10 pounds per night per person in any UK city (you might be able to get as low as 8, but don't count on it).

I meant 30$ a person, sorry.
edit: Which by my calculation's (XE's) would be around 17/18 pounds.

for future reference, an easy way to type this is US$30. in US, we put the $ in front of the number. confusing with all these different systems, i know. - d

euroman, when I was in the U.K. last year I paid UK$17.00 per night for a Dorm room (which included the "full English Breakfast). Not sure what that converts to in US$, but it should be close to US$30.00.
Cheers!!!
