hey guys! my friend and i are planning to visit paris, interlaken, and rome during may 2006. what are your favorite/great hostels/ hotels around these areas? i've heard that the beehive in rome is awesome and might use that one during that part of the trip. i'm just trying to get an idea of how much to budget for rooms throughout the 2 week trip. thanks in advance!!!

be aware, Beehive is a quiet hostel. if you want a party, you probably want somewhere else. as i was a teen when in Interlaken, can't really advise. (but, i stayed at an HI there) and, i've never been to Paris - can't advise there.

beehive in the dorm was 20 euros a night. in paris i stayed at Le Village in Montmartre. its near the metro which is good. i believe it was 21 or 22 euros a night. its very sociable. they have a big deck where everyone sits and chats and hangs out. very cool. good place to meet people. interlaken i was there on a day trip... i was staying with a friend in switzerland and she had a car so... we saw lots in not a lot of time.
