I'm going to be in the UK from April 20th to May 19th and was wondering if anyone has any experiences with Hostels and soccer (football) games?
As in, do any of the hostels sell tickets to the games and get a group together to go or anything like that?
Cheers!

You will be lucky to get a premiership ticket for a football game - they are about £40 and depending on which team (Chelsea, Manchester United ect) they are like gold dust. However if you go for a lower division team then it would be pretty straight forward to go down to the ground and buy tickets on the turnstiles for yourselves. I am not sure if any hostels do packages but it will depend where you are in the country and what your local team is. The FA cup final is on 13th May in Cardiff which is a big deal but again lucky if you get tickets. This is the FA website for ticket info and stuff www.premierleague.comBTW the football season finishes on the 7th May so it would have to be in the first half of your trip that you caught a match.
