Ratings on these hostels?

I am planning a 3 and a half week trip with three of my (all male) friends and have a rough hostel itinerary down. I have read online reviews, but was wondering if anybody could add extra insight through personal experience or stories?

June 15th - June 19th: London - Piccadilly Hotel
June 19th - June 23rd: Paris - Le Village
June 23rd - June 26th: Nice - No Hostel yet
(any suggestions?)
June 27th - June 29th: Rome - Gulliver's House
June 29th - July 3rd: Aiguafreda/Sapri - friend's house
July 4th - July 6th: Gimmelwald - Mountain Hostel
July 7th - July 10th: Amsterdam - Hotel Cosmos

All those hostels get good reviews, you are pretty safe with them. I was a bit worried when I saw you had Friends hostel down but then noticed it wasn't the one in Paris - that one you want to stay faaaaar away from!

Also, for your dates, I would highly suggest booking ahead. You are wanting to stay at very popular hostels in peak season, it's worth your while to make reservations. You can book most of them through guideforeurope here:
