I am planning on staying in the Villa St. Exupery hostel in Nice in late June, and have read some things about this place being hard to locate, a.k.a. being difficult to find a bus route to.
In advance, I figured I would attempt to dissolve some future frustration and ask anybody who has already been if they remember what the best route to take is to get there from Nice Ville Station (which is where we will be coming in from). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

while i haven't been... maybe try using google maps or mapquest and see how far away it is? the train station is not exactly at the center of town either. i imagine the tram is now up and running. it was being built when i was there in september.

i just stayed there .. it is good.. the ride there isn't too bad as the buses are pretty regular. they also provide lifts from the bus stop to the place. however, that beign said it has some problems.. it's pretty loud place, the doors slam hard. the common area is always full in the evening as it's nearly impossible to go out as the night bus goes latest at 1am. they have big cans of beer for 1 euro and bottles of wine for 4 euros. of course at the supermarket beer is 0.30 euro and wine 2 euro \ i woudl recommend it though, ti's nice and they also have a killer breakfast and laundry service.
