I know it's really late to be looking for a hostel in PAMPLONA for the week of the running of the bulls but... I've looked on every website and I can't find a bed anywhere. Anyone have any ideas where I could stay from July 5–8?

You are right....'at this late date' you are 99% out of luck for Pamplona. At least for the week you want. Your best alternative at this point is to try some out the outlying towns for accomodations and bus and/or train into P. during the days. You won't be alone...so make some reservations for travel as there will be loads of folks day tripping along with you.

Thanks, yeah thats what I thought...any suggestions on where to stay? Do you think the running of the bulls is worth it all together or should I just find somewhere else to spend the days...maybe Bilboa?

My friend and I are going to the running of the bulls this year and ran into the same questions when we were researching the event.
To answer your question, you are not going to be able to find a hostel or hotel to stay at, but you are not out of luck either. from what I have learned, there is a large central park in the city, in which about a thousand visitors rest in over night.
you can store your pack inside the city hall, from what i understand. also, i hear it gets chilly in the park, so bring a sleeping bag or a blanket.
