Sorry if I'm repeating information posted earlier in the forum - but would love to hear reviews from anyone who has stayed at the Young & Happy, Aloha and BVJ hostels in Paris.
Also any others that people recommend (perhaps in the Latin Quarter or close by).
Thanks for any help.

I like to recommend the hostel that I stayed at in Paris. It was one of the MIJE hostels and was called hotel Fourcy. It was very quiet and kept in good shape. The staff seemed a bit standoff-ish but it really wasn't a problem for me. The location is right across the river from Notre Dame and a block away from a central subway station.

i stayed in aloha hostel. the place was nice and in a great location with the subway w/in 5 mins walk. the area is good for travelers since there were a lot of shops and stores in case you need to restock your supplies.

I stayed at peace and love. Its right across the street from the Jaures metro so you can get anywhere pretty easily. The neighborhood is alright for little stores to buy smokes and there is also a supermarket.
