Hi, wondering if anyone has heard of/had experiences with couch surfing. I've recently come across the website but am a bit unsure about it. Sounds like a good idea but I would just like to speak to anyone if they have done this before or know someone who has done it???

I know the moderators discourage it because, like me, they are very concerned about the safety of people going to stay with strangers. I wouldn't want my daughter doing it, for sure! I know some people here have had good experiences with it, though.
