pls HELP - accommodation in Crete

Has anyone stayed in Alexandros Studios www.alexandros-studios.com/index.htm ?

The Crete has been chosen; my husband and I certainly want to go there in July 2007. Now I’m searching for an inexpensive accommodation. We do not mind a hostel with private room and bath. Chania seems to be a good point for trips we want to make to Samaria gorge, Gramvousa, Elafonisi and Rethimon. I’ve found this accommodation online and would like to be assured. Or any other tip?

I haven't heard of that place. But hostelbookers.com has some hostels that aren't always displayed on hostelworld.com

You could check it out and see if you find a better place for a better deal. Some of them are really nice.

jen, I don't know if they have a "private room and bath" available, but you might check out www.yhplakias.com as it might be what you're looking for. I believe it's close to Samaria Gorge, but I'd have to do some checking. Looks like a great location, and I hope to visit there in the near future.
