Hey!
Has anyone else noticed some discrepancies btwn hostelworld.com and the actual hostel website? take Kabul for example. on hostelworld.com, they give u the choice of staying in a 4-bed dorm, while on the kabul website, the smallest dorm they have listed is the 8-bed dorm.
so who's lying? where should i book? if i pay for a 4-bed dorm via hostelworld, will i have to stay in an 8-bed dorm bcs the 4-bed doesnt even exist??
and one more thing. why do a lot of hostels not allow u to book by debit card?
thanks!

I just checked Kabul´s website, it says "We have dorms with 4, 6, 8 , 10, 12 and 20 beds. "
Re: debit cards They´re not "international standard" like credit cards. In Austria, for example, we have our own sort of debit cards, I can pay with it in any grocery store, but outside the country they´re useless.
Be warned about the Kabul though: On their flyers, they say "if you want to sleep, stay elsewhere" - I stayed there various times and can confirm that. It´s one of Europe´s most vibrant party hostels and I love it for that. If you want to sleep before 4am though, it´s not really the best choice.

which kabul are you talking about, amsterdam or barcelona? I have heard some very dodgy things about the kabul in amsterdam!
