I just booked this hostel in Paris and then i found some reviews speaking of bed bugs and unfriendly workers.
this disappoints me......
Has anyone heard anything about this place, or better yet stayed there themselves?

I haven't even stayed there but I've heard bad things about them. Did you only pay the deposit or the full amount? I'd seriously let the deposit go and book another hostel.
Word to the wise, research is essential in booking hostels/hotels and it's always good to check out multiple booking sites and reading the reviews and then comparing the reviews. If it's generally good across all booking sites, it's better to go with that than one that has a good review on one site but a terrible one on another site.

I've been there!
actually, the staff was really friendly when I was there and I met some amazing people. However, showers sucked. The ones for my room were in the courtyard. Don't ask where they got that logic! But I managed to make friends with a girl who had a shower in her room and I took my shower there. Quite better off!
It's a well located hostel, not too far from the Eiffel Tower and such. I don't think it will be your worst experience ever, but definetely not the best. I wouldn't panic if you can't find anything else or get a refund. On a better note, breakfast is amazing there!
